Laundry drum- surge tank

Hose from the washing machine goes into the top of this surge tank. A garden hose is connected to the bottom so greywater drains out slowly. Since the idea is NOT to store the water, there is no shut off valve at the bottom of the tank. The surge tank is elevated on cinder blocks to provide more gravity so the greywater can flow to more places in the yard. Note: Tank should be strapped to wall for safety.
