Install a greywater system (2-day class)

Residential greywater, water from sinks, showers, and washing machines, is a valuable water resource that can be recycled to irrigate plants. In this unique course, you’ll learn options for purifying and reusing water for your home, business or community, including: designing successful greywater systems; installing systems with common household plumbing; choosing appropriate greywater plants; and legal and practical considerations for greywater reuse.
Students will help to install a greywater system to process the water from the Solar Living Center's volunteer shower house.
