Hands-on rainwater harvesting workshop- build your own rainbarrel

Come learn about simple, backyard rainwater harvesting systems in this fun hands-on workshop.

·      LEARN about various types of rain harvesting systems, storage options, sizing systems and irrigation methods.

·      INSTALL a rain barrel system at a private residence.

·      OUTFIT and TAKE HOME your own rain barrel from a repurposed 55-gallon drum.

Cost: Workshop fee is $15-$50 sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds. Please consider contributing an extra $5 donation to help support the work of Transition Berkeley.

Workshop costs are subsidized thanks to a generous grant from the Fairy Godmothers.

Rainbarrel costs are sliding scale $45-$55, paid separately.
