Hands-on greywater workshop (Pomona)

FreeReUse Water with Greywater!
Learn how to convert your own washing machine into a water-saving laundry-to-landscape greywater system. This system is low in cost, doesn’t require a permit, and is great for irrigating trees, bushes, and other perennial plants. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn about and participate in the construction and installation of a real laundry-to-landscape greywater system. No prior experience is required. You will gain the knowledge and experience to plan and install your own greywater system.
The workshop will cover:
- Greywater principles
- Best plants to water with greywater
- Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
- Steps, materials, and installation for a simple greywater system from the washing machine
- Installation site is a residence located in Pomona, CA. Address provided after registration.
Please bring your own hats, gloves, water bottles, and sunblock. (Lunch is provided.)
