i am in southern Vermont looking to drain graywater from kitchen sink, bathroom sink and tub (part time use). Wondering how deep I need to bury pipes to avoid freezing, and how deep the drains at the mulch basins need to be. Thank you!

Will you be using the system all year? Or only during non-freezing months?

Hi,
Will the system be used during the winter?
Generally speaking you should keep the outlets below the freeze line, but since I’m not familiar with your area I don’t know what depth that would be.
A greywater installer in Maryland (Nutricycle systems) typically buries 8 inches, though goes deeper in extreme conditions.
And make sure you slope all pipes so that there is no standing water in them!
Good luck with your system!
