I have a laundry to landscape system with 5 basins that water asparagus. I’m in the PNW so only use in dry season. I use this product in the rinse cycle, and am unsure if I should use when washer is set to go to the greywater…

The ingredients listed are: distilled water, tea tree oil, propriety citrus botanical blend and tangerine oil.
It doesn’t smell very strong like tea tree or other essential oils. I add a little bit to the rinse cycle (2-3 ounces).
I don’t think it will kill plants. But it is used to remove/kill/prevent mold…so my main concern is that it could interfere with soil fungi and bacteria.
Any thoughts, input, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Also, how do folks feel about adding baking soda and vinegar to washer when using greywater?
I use unscented ECOS or Seventh Generation laundry soap.

This product looks good to me! I don’t think it will negatively impact the soil, in the quantities you are adding. Plus, it will only contact a small portion of the soil around the plants.
I think small amounts of baking soda are okay, especially in the PNW where rain flushes any salt build up, and vinegar is fine too!
