I am curious to learn more about the safety of using residential aqueous ozone laundry systems with a laundry-to-landscape household graywater irrigation system. I am most interested in any potential safety considerations of the wash water entering the environment (so as to not kill good microbes or harm juvenile amphibians)?

Hi Kara,
I think the residential ozone treatment for laundry are suitable for greywater. I have one in my home and have used it successfully for a few years. I know a handful of others with the ozone system using a laundry to landscape system with happy, healthy plants. I’ve never heard of that greywater causing any problems in the landscape.
Best wishes,
Laura
