“Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.” – Frank Lloyd Wright
I am an architect that followed Wright’s words beyond architecture to my family roots in agriculture and aquaculture. I see urban agriculture as a way to combine my passion and skills between these fields while working to elevate the presence, performance and influence of nature within built environments, watersheds and regional food systems.
I currently work at MidPen Housing as GIS Specialist where my expertise in architecture, agriculture, planning and sustainability have been valuable in developing affordable housing. Meanwhile, as Greywater Action Level 2 Installer and graduate of the UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, I perform freelance organic gardening and design work that focuses on greywater irrigation systems.
Most recently, I’ve launched California Clips, affordable water saving clips made in CA that anyone can use to retrofit toilets to recover up to a gallon per flush with no loss in flushing power. Over 1200 toilets have been retrofitted to date and are now recovering over 1 million gallons of excess toilet bowl refill water every year . Please email me for a free sample.
