(Berkeley) Greywater Action: Get Started with Greywater Systems

26th September 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Do you want to save more water around your home, and keep your garden green during the drought? In this introductory class, you will learn about the range of options to reuse water with greywater systems.

Greywater, water from sinks, showers, and washing machines, is a great source of irrigation and can greatly reduce your outdoor water use. Greywater systems are especially important in times of drought.

Come learn about common and popular greywater systems, design considerations, water saving potential, costs, regulations, health and safety, soaps and products, and how to choose a system that is a good match for your home and landscape. Experienced instructor Natalie Kilmer will lead you through the design steps to plan your home greywater systems.

Come with your questions, and leave with next steps for a greywater system! This class has a limited size, get your ticket online ahead of time to reserve your spot.

Cost: $25
