Greywater Friendly Products

The products listed below do not contain high levels of salts or boron. In general, liquid detergents do not change the water’s pH.

Laundry Detergent

Oasis Laundry Detergent (liquid), ECOS liquid detergent, Vaska, Trader Joes Liquid Detergent, Puretergent, and BioPac. Vaska also makes a commercial laundry detergent that is compatible with commercial washing machines.

For Sinks (dishes and hands)

Oasis All Purpose Cleaner, Dr. Bronners, any natural liquid or bar soap.

Body Products

In general, the ingredients in personal care products are not harmful to plants, including most shampoos and conditioners.
